How are you?
On the 23rd of June, the Year 6s in New Brighton Catholic School went to the James Hay Theatre near the Christchurch Town Hall to perform what is one of the best dances yet. Dancing Like The Stars. It was a super exciting and emotional dance. The host was someone named Adam. We were 3rd to perform. The song we danced to was “What About Us” sung by P!nk.
There were 10 performances. My favourite one was a dance-demo group, they were 2nd to perform.
I enjoyed seeing other people perform and how they persevered and ignored mistakes.
A challenge for me was getting the timing correct with the music.
I could improve by practising more and trying hard.
I hope we can continue doing this dance.
