On the 2nd of December, some people who worked for Top Team came and arrived at NBC. Top Team is an organisation which will assist people in exercise for a few days.
There were various activities we had to complete in groups of 5-10, like water pipe, egg & spoon, conveyor belt, etc.
Water pipe was the one I found most challenging. It is one big tube with a golf ball inside. There are multiple holes scattered around it, which will leak water if not covered. You block the holes, and pour water in the tube, while trying to get the golf ball to come out via the opening at the top.
Another challenging task was the Conveyor Belt. It is where around 3 or more people go under this conveyor belt which has had all of the special wiring, and fancy things removed, and start walking to a cone and back. It is difficult because the group may shift forwards and leave tons of room at the back, causing the person in front to be squished.
This can cause some arguments or even make people happy, but whatever happens, we should all know that it was an experience that we at least attempted.
I found that working together was surprisingly hard with year 0-2’s. They are new to school, so it is understandable, but still quite challenging
